On September 21, 2016, ANATEL published public consultation # 23 proposing an update for the homologation certificates of the stationary lead-acid batteries maintenance tables. These batteries are used in telecommunications service systems. The public consultation contains the list of the specific batteries and the new maintenance tables proposed by ANATEL. If the proposal is approved, batteries manufacturers can begin to choose between the new and the old tables, but taking into account the maintenance cycles have to be done according to the same table. Interested parties can send comments to ANATEL until the deadline of September 30th 2016.
