INDIA: Reduction of Renewal Fees for Telecom Product Under Voluntary Certification Scheme of TEC

On Mar 30th, 2022, TEC announced the reduction of renewal fees under the voluntary certification scheme as the following: 

1. Products category I to V       – R. 10,000/-
2. Products category VI to X     – R. 20,000/

Product renewal is applicable if its hardware remains the same and TEC product specifications/standards are the same. This renewal will be valid for 10 years. Previously, the renewal fees were the same as the initial fees as per TEC test tariff order No. TEC/NR.RC/Tariff/ 33/2014(Vol II) dated 31.12.2015.|
