The Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT) opened a public consultation between July 7th – 17th and August 3rd – 17th (20 workdays), in order to receive comments, proposals and opinions about the draft of the technical disposition IFT-008-2015. The principal objective of this disposition is to establish specifications and limits for the radio communication equipments that use spread spectrum in the frequency bands 902-928 MHz, 2400-2483 MHz and 5725-5850 MHz; anticipating that the equipments could coexist with a large number of other spread spectrum radio communication systems. It also establishes test methods in order to verify the specifications and limits compliance. This new disposition will replace the current NOM-121.
