The Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA), is inviting all the interested parties to submit their applications for a spectrum auction of 2×10 MHz paired channels in the 850 MHz band (Band 5). The license’s will be awarded for 15 years and could be used for technology neutral next generation mobile services (3G, 4G and beyond). This Next Generation Mobile Services Award (NGMSA) will give to the winner the right to establish, maintain and operate Next Generation Mobile Networks (NGMN) and to provide Next Generation Mobile Services (NGMS). Interested parties could send their applications until May 28, 2016.
